The Flasherbooster is connected between original flasher relay and your aftermarket indicators. If an indicator fails in subsequent operation, i.e. the current consumed falls below 20% of the normal operating current, the Flasher Checker activates the hazard warning function for as long as the flasher relay is activated. The hazard warning function switches off automatically when the flasher relay is deactivated.
