Some new bikes have original led flashers what work with voltages between 6 - 9 Volt. This saves a bit money for the manufacturer, cause he have only one voltage converter in his flasher relay instead of 4 voltage converters in the indicators. However, this makes it a bit complicated to change the original indicators against nice aftermarket indicators.
