Brake 2 Flash

This is a small flasher module for your brake light. It wakes up motorists behind you and provide more safety. Some luxury cars use this technology since some years already. The Brake 2 Flash could bring a significant plus in motorbike safety as motorbikes are easy to be overlooked from other motorists. However, it's still not approved in Germany yet, but already common in many other countries. You can choose between 14 different flasher modes.

An auto-cancel function is integrated into the module. The corresponding output flashes 4 times when a turn signal button is pressed briefly for less than 0.5 seconds and then switches off. This function can be used for overtaking. If the button is pressed for longer than 0.5 seconds, the output flashes 40 times. The auto-cancel function can be deactivated by connecting the green wire to ground.

The activation of the module is made via a press on a button. Now you have 15 seconds time to put your rfid tag in front of the antenna. A red led on the antenna indicate the waiting state of the module. If the rfid tag is recognized then the led changes to blue color and the power for the bike is switching on. If the rfid tag is not recognized then the module fall back in sleep mode.
