Overvoltage Indicator
A defective charge controller in the moped can be an expensive affair and destroy some of the bike electrics, and a burning lithium battery under the seat or a leaking lead battery due to overvoltage are not really funny...
As soon as an on-board voltage of 15.1 volts is exceeded for longer than 2 seconds, a warning flasher function is activated via the two blinker outputs and the additional LED output is switched on. In most cases, it is then sufficient to switch off the engine immediately to prevent major damage.
An undervoltage detection is also integrated. If the battery voltage falls below 12.1 volts for more than 3 seconds, the LED output and the flasher outputs flash in a different pattern.

Almost every bike what runs in US have a brake light / indicator combination in the way, that 2 lamps works as brake light and as indicator as well. This makes a conversion of an imported bike from Europe according to the requirements in the US a bit tricky. A conversion of an EU bike according to the requirements in the US is much easier and less cost intensive with the Rear Light US.

The activation of the module is made via a press on a button. Now you have 15 seconds time to put your rfid tag in front of the antenna. A red led on the antenna indicate the waiting state of the module. If the rfid tag is recognized then the led changes to blue color and the power for the bike is switching on. If the rfid tag is not recognized then the module fall back in sleep mode.
