EHC for Big Dog 2004

This EHC replacement controlls the functions of your Big Dog bike. Our EHC are made as "Plug & Play" control boxes for a fast change (about 10 minutes) against the old device. There is no need to spend some hours for cablework, stripping etc... Some changes compare to the original EHC provide a better performance and lifetime.

The following functions are implemented:

  • Flasher control
  • Auto flasher off function, emergency flasher
  • Control of low - and high beam.
  • Control of ignition, starter and compression reliefs.
  • Control of the horn
  • Brake light control include dim function of the rear light

The most outputs of the EHC are short circuit protected and self resetting when a short circuit is not present anymore.

The activation of the module is made via a press on a button. Now you have 15 seconds time to put your rfid tag in front of the antenna. A red led on the antenna indicate the waiting state of the module. If the rfid tag is recognized then the led changes to blue color and the power for the bike is switching on. If the rfid tag is not recognized then the module fall back in sleep mode.

The Rear Light EU is a module for bikes with emergency flasher function. It converts the two signals from the original flasher / brake light combination in four separate outputs for brake light / rear light and indicators. A conversion of an US bike according to the requirements in the EU is much easier and less cost intensive with this new module.
