MT07 Subcage - Rear Sets for Yamaha MT-07 / FZ-07

The MT07 subcage is a rear set replacement built for riders who need a solid platform under their boots. It replaces the stock passenger footrest brackets with a steel cage that survives repeated crashes, low-speed drops and daily stunt practice on a Yamaha MT-07 or FZ-07 (2014-2024).

Build and durability

The cage is bent and welded from steel bar, then powder-coated in black. That combination gives you real durability where CNC-machined aluminum brackets tend to snap. The reinforcement across the mounting points spreads the load into the frame instead of the subframe bolts alone, so the design holds up under wheelie landings and stoppie work.

Pegs and grip

The 30 mm aluminum pegs are deeply knurled for grip in wet conditions and with worn boot soles. The peg position sits slightly higher and further back than stock, which suits a stunt riding style and keeps the pegs clear of the ground on hard lean. Black is the standard color of the set.
