Frequently asked questions

Do the fairings need cutting?
Most of our cages fit without cutting the fairings. Keep in mind that this refers to exactly the model you see in the photos - later model years often keep the same frame but get different bodywork, and then the fairing has to be trimmed.

Does it fit the stock exhaust?
Yes. The cage fits the exhaust you can see in the photos, which is the stock one. Aftermarket headers are often a problem, because our cages are developed on bikes with stock exhaust headers.

Can I ride with a passenger?
Yes, the cage does not stop you from carrying a passenger.

Is there a warranty?
Yes, two years. The warranty does not cover parts that were involved in a crash.

How heavy is the cage?
About 8 kg for a big cage and around 5 kg for a small one. All cages are made from reinforced seamless tube.

Are the sliders replaceable?
Yes. The sliders are replaceable and the same sliders fit all of our cages.
