Before installing, loosen the collector bolts at the engine head. In the K100 models from the years (82-89) it is enough to unscrew the serial exhaust, in the K100RS 16V models after 1989 and K1100 the exhaust should be cut at the height of the side stand mounting (see photo). After installing the 4in1 adapter, tighten the screws of the collectors.
