Rear sprocket for stunt
Motorcycle rear sprockets - this is a part of the motorcycle, which we have been producing since 2010. Hundreds of designs, patterns, models have allowed us to create sprockets of the highest quality. The rear sprocket of a motorcycle, in the case of a system equipped with a drive chain, is the last element that transfers the power and torque of the engine to the rear wheel. A feature of the rear sprocket is the possible installation of a component with a different number of teeth, which affects the dynamics of the motorcycle. The principle is simple: a stunt sprockets with fewer teeth allows you to increase the maximum speed of the motorcycle at the same engine speed. Such a change also reduces dynamics, acceleration.
There is 1 product.

A smaller sprocket will wear faster because the drive chain is braided over fewer teeth when transferring power to the rear wheel. Therefore, the tooth outline and the material of the rear sprockets are very influential. As a standard, we make rear sprockets from wear-resistant steel, which makes them durable and resistant to high loads. We CNC-mill aluminum stunt sprockets exclusively from grade 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, which is one of the most durable alloys available on the market (used in aerospace). Although less durable, they are on average 60% lighter than their steel counterparts. The most important feature affecting rear sprocket wear, however, is proper system maintenance. Poor tension or even minor damage to the chain clearly speeds up the wear of the rear sprockets, which is particularly noticeable when a new sprocket is mounted to an old system. For this reason, if replacing, it is suggested to purchase the entire chain kit consisting of the chain and the rear and front sprocket. The difference in wear between steel and aluminum sprockets decreases as the number of teeth increases. The larger the aluminum sprockets (60,65,70 teeth), the wear resistance approaches that of steel sprockets. At the same time, the larger the rear aluminum sprocket, the greater the difference in weight compared to the heavier steel sprocket. Sprocket size - that's why we always recommend making larger stunt bike sprocket from aluminum.
