Stunt front sprocket (JT)
Why replacing the front sprocket can result in the cheapest and fastest change in motorcycle performance? Front sprockets are generally available and they are very cheap. Changing from a 16t to a 15t, that is, by one tooth, has the effect of increasing the rear sprocket by about 3 teeth without having to put a longer chain. The difference of one tooth in the front sprocket will certainly be felt while riding. It is common for manufacturers to have several sizes of front sprockets available on the market. In short: the smaller the front sprocket, the greater the acceleration. The larger the front sprocket, the higher the top speed in each gear.

In a motorcycle equipped with a drive chain, the motorcycle front sprocket is the connection between the engine and the chain transferring power to the rear wheel. The simplicity of this design gives it a surprising durability and reliability that make it still often used in motorcycles. On the other hand, much in these respects depends on the user himself, as lack of proper control or poor selection of the sprocket can not only shorten the life of the system, but even that of the motorcyclist. In a chain drive system, the front sprocket of a motorcycle is designed to transfer to the chain the power and torque generated in the engine. In contact with the chain, it is therefore the front sprocket that is the source of the forces present in the drive, so its design must be sufficiently durable, resistant to damage and wear especially in aggressive riding. Particularly important in them is the performance of the teeth. Because of their size, sprockets hook into the chain with only a few teeth, and not even a dozen, as in the case of the rear sprocket. Inadequate sprocket design or the effects of wear can easily lead to damage to other chain components as well. Wear of the sprocket is mainly manifested by changes in the shape of the teeth, which can result in poorer performance of the motorcycle, noisy operation of the system and "jumping" of the chain.
